ingredients
baby marrow, washed + sliced as you prefer
salt
a few clove of unpeeled garlic, only loose skins removed
olive oil / canola oil
method
- layer baby marrow in strainer, sprinkle each layer w/ salt + leave 10 – 20min
- rinse + pat dry w/ paper towel
- place baby marrow + garlic on oven tray + drizzle w/ oil
- bake in preheated oven [180°C] for 20 – 30min or until soft
- served as required
- alternative - you can also prepare the baby marrow in a frying pan
Idea: baby marrow really taste great with sage butter – melt butter in frying pan, add a few leaves of fresh sage + fry for few seconds, drizzle over baked baby marrow |
